I listen from the U.K. and often listen long enough for the programme to start repeating itself. The archived programmes are extremely interesting, as well as exciting, and often show how thinking has progressed in the intervening years.

I have always liked Sci Fi on radio. It is better than most visual media. As has been said, "the scenery is better". A favourite of mine used to be "Journey into Space", a series broadcast on the BBC Home Service (before it was Radio 4) during the 1950's. Any chance of getting hold of any old recordings? :-)
